Through our HAZWOPER training courses, students will engage in learning about the safety practices when dealing with hazardous materials, as sanctioned by OSHA standards. Our instructors will provide thorough knowledge, pulling from their own training and first-hand experience, of te prevention of injuries and illnesses caused by hazardous materials within the workplace.
The 40 hour program focuses on the training required for all personnel before they can enter a hazardous waste site, Superfund site, or RCRA site. This also applies to clean up operations at businesses and industries which handle hazardous materials and hazardous wastes. A certificate of completion is provided to those who pass the exam on the final day. Annual refresher training is required.
The 8 hour refresher course is for all employees who have obtained the 40 hour certificates for Hazardous Materials General Site Worker Initial Course. This course is intended to refresh students on job functions which involve responding to releases of hazardous materials and includes the updates on new regulations, current required subjects, and hands-on applications by request.
