Description
The Online Electrical Safety Awareness will serve as an introductory course for students to learn about the basic concepts of electricity, hazards from electric shock and hazard controls. Students will be able to familiarize themselves with working around electrical hazards and how to mitigate and reduce the dangers of electric shock. There will also be a brief introduction on protective equipment and the flow of electricity and current.
This online course will include but is not limited to:
- Introduction to Electrical Safety
- Electrical Hazards on the work site
- Risks and Consequences of Electrical Hazards
- GFCIs (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters)
Time for completion: Approximately 2 Hours
PLEASE NOTE: You have 60 days from receiving your online enrollment login to successfully pass/complete the course. Failure to do so will forfeit your enrollment and require a new registration to the course.
