Applies to All In-Person Training Conducted by NATEC International, Inc.

NATEC International, Inc. is an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) training organization providing in-person regulatory compliance training that may involve physical, hands-on participation using tools, ladders, equipment, and other potentially hazardous materials or devices.

By proceeding, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not register or participate in any in-person course offered by NATEC.


1. Assumption of Risk

You understand and acknowledge that participation in NATEC training may involve:

  • Use of sharp tools such as scissors, box cutters, utility knives, or blades
  • Use of heat-producing devices such as heat guns
  • Climbing and working on ladders
  • Engaging in physical activity such as lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and moving through training spaces

These activities involve inherent risks such as cuts, burns, strains, falls, and other injuries. You voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown.


2. Waiver of Liability

You hereby release and forever discharge NATEC International, Inc., its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities of any kind, including those arising from ordinary negligence, related to your participation in NATEC’s in-person training.

This release shall be binding upon you and your respective heirs, administrators, personal representatives, executors, successors, and assigns.


3. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of your participation, conduct, or actions during training.


4. Medical Responsibility

You confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and able to safely participate. You understand that NATEC does not provide medical insurance or health coverage of any kind. You authorize NATEC to seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf if needed and agree to be fully responsible for all associated medical costs.


5. Safety and Conduct

You agree to:

  • Follow all safety rules and instructions
  • Use tools and equipment only as instructed
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Report any unsafe conditions or injuries to staff immediately
  • Refrain from any activity you feel physically unfit or unsafe to perform

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.


6. Scope and Governing Law

This notice applies to all current and future in-person training sessions provided by NATEC International, Inc., regardless of location or date. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of this notice is found to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect.


7. Acknowledgment of Understanding

By continuing training at NATEC International, Inc., you confirm that:

  • You have carefully read and fully understand this entire notice
  • You are voluntarily assuming all risks associated with in-person training
  • You understand that you are giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue
  • You agree to be legally bound by the terms outlined above

NATEC International, Inc. has updated our publicly held class start times for all branches. Please be aware as this will affect current and future training courses.

NATEC ANAHEIM:

  • All Hazardous Materials training/HAZWOPER training courses are now to begin at 7:30AM.
  • All other training courses are now to begin at 8:00AM with the exception of:

NATEC Oakland:

  • All Hazardous Materials training/HAZWOPER training courses are now to begin at 7:30AM.

NATEC Sacramento:

  • All Hazardous Materials training/HAZWOPER training courses are now to begin at 7:30AM.
