Applications are processed in the order they are received, and admission to an exam depends on meeting all application requirements and the availability of exam slots.

What is a CAC/CSST?
In accordance with Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations (T8CCR) section 1529, a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) is defined as an individual who enters into contracts to offer professional health and safety services pertaining to asbestos-containing construction materials, specifically those with a surface area of 100 square feet or more. The responsibilities of an Asbestos Consultant encompass various tasks such as building inspection, abatement project design, contract management, sample collection, preparation of asbestos management plans, clearance monitoring, and overseeing Site Surveillance Technicians.
According to T8CCR 1529, a Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) is an individual who serves as an independent on-site representative for an Asbestos Consultant. The CSST’s responsibilities include overseeing the asbestos abatement activities of others, conducting asbestos air monitoring for both area and personal samples, and carrying out building surveys and contract administration tasks under the guidance of an Asbestos Consultant.
