Description
This 40-hour course was developed by NATEC International, Inc. specifically for construction contracts with NAVFAC; Army Corp; Air Force; NASA; and US Coast Guard facilities to provide the students with a better understanding of the:
- Contractor’s obligation to run a safe job and the contracting officer’s role in safety oversight
- Potential safety and health hazards on construction sites and the regulatory standards that apply
- Skills to identify, prevent, and correct construction site safety and health hazards
- Skills to adequately review and assess contractor accident prevention plans and activity hazard analysis
- Skills to perform basic mishap investigations and develop adequate reports in order to apply lessons learned to future construction work

EM 385 MANUAL (2014 Edition) AND GENI EM 385 WORKBOOK INCLUDED IN TRAINING
This course uses classroom instruction, live demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and site inspection scenarios. Students will have practical experience completing an AHA and APP. This course meets and/or exceeds the requirements of the UFGS (2010) 01 35 26 for Key Contractor Personnel. Course Length: Four 10-Hour Days. OSHA 30 Certification is included in this course.
