Description
This Northern California Asbestos Worker Initial 32 Hour course is accredited by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and meets OSHA requirements for Class I & II work. The course covers many topics including safety, laws and regulations, and state-of-the-art work procedures. The participant will also be involved in a 14 hour segment of hands-on training which will include activities such as donning personal protective equipment, building a decontamination unit, glove-bagging, and proper use of common asbestos abatement equipment and tools.
Hours: 32 Hours
Prerequisites: None.
Certificate of Completion: A certificate documenting Asbestos Worker Initial training is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
NOTE:This course meets the AHERA training requirement for Asbestos Workers.
NOTE:This course does NOT qualify for A/C Pipe Certification.
