As of April 1st, 2023, Cal/OSHA is terminating the accreditation for all VIRTUAL training classes. NATEC will no longer offer virtual training for accredited Asbestos courses after March 31st, 2023.
This Northern California Asbestos Worker Initial 32 Hour course meets OSHA requirements for Class I & II work. The course covers many topics including safety, laws and regulations, and state-of-the-art work procedures. The participant will be instructed in the following activities such as donning personal protective equipment, building a decontamination unit, glove-bagging, and proper use of common asbestos abatement equipment and tools.
Hours: 32 Hours
Prerequisites: None.
Certificate of Completion: A certificate documenting Asbestos Worker Initial training is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
NOTE: This course meets the AHERA training requirement for Asbestos Workers.
NOTE: This course does NOT qualify for A/C Pipe Certification.
