Description
This Northern California Asbestos Awareness Training is intended for employees performing Awareness Level operations shall be consistent with Federal EPA requirements for training of local agency maintenance and custodial staff as set forth in 40 CFR 763.92 (a)(1). Such a course shall include available information concerning the locations of thermal system insulation (TSI) and surfacing materials that contain, or are presumed to contain, asbestos (ACM/PACM), and asbestos containing flooring material. Note: flooring material for which the absence of asbestos has not yet been certified must be presumed to contain asbestos. The training must also include instruction in how to recognize damage, deterioration, or delamination of asbestos containing building materials.
