Walking and Working Surfaces Including Fall Protection

Target Audience:

This course is suitable for all employees who work on or near walking and working surfaces, including those in construction, manufacturing, and general industry sectors.

Course Objectives:

  • Identify hazards in the workplace associated with walking and working surfaces including ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts.
  • Implement best practices for eliminating or controlling these hazards.
  • Understand the employer requirements for protecting workers from walking and working surface hazards.
  • Learn the basics of correct use and maintenance of personal fall arrest systems (PFAS).
