NFPA 70E Arc Flash Electrical Safety

Course Duration: 8 hours

With a seven-fold increase in OSHA’s penalty structure for violations and a much greater emphasis on willful and multiple violations of one standard, Organizations cannot afford to be out of compliance. OSHA’s mandated training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.332 requires that employees who “…face a risk of electrical shock that is not reduced by electrical installation requirements…” must receive electrical safety training.

This training includes practices for qualified and unqualified persons.
This class is intended for employees who are involved in the installation, operation, use, removal, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

    • The identification of hazardous energy sources in the workplace
    • Methods and means necessary to isolate and control energy sources so that servicing or maintenance can be performed safely.
