NATEC International, Inc.’s Confined Space Entry Course is an intensive 8-hour training designed to meet regulatory requirements for those entering confined spaces. This comprehensive course combines classroom instruction with practical field exercises and evaluations to meet regulatory requirements. Participants will learn to identify confined spaces, understand regulatory requirements per CalOSHA, recognize specific risks, review and complete a confined space entry permit, implement emergency procedures, and effectively use equipment and techniques. The course focuses on the roles of attendant, entrant, and entry supervisor, emphasizing atmospheric testing, ventilation practices, and safe entry procedures.
Course Objectives:
To equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely manage confined space entry, emphasizing the prevention methods and responsibilities of the entry team. The course aims to ensure that participants can effectively identify risks and implement safety procedures in compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.
