For professionals with 24 hours of HAZWOPER training, our 16-hour supplemental course provides the essential bridge to fulfill the requirements of a 40-hour General Site Worker. This course aligns with CCR Title 8 Section 5192e & CFR 29 1910.120e standards and is specifically designed for those who aspire to become general site workers or need to wear respirators during their operations. 

Course Duration: 16 hours 

Overview: 

This course is intended as a continuation of the foundational 24-hour HAZWOPER training. It dives deeper into the essential topics while also providing participants with two days of hands-on and classroom training. By the end of this supplemental course, participants will be fully equipped to operate as a general site worker in hazardous environments. 

Who Should Attend: 

Workers with 24 hours of training covered by paragraphs 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) and (e)(3)(iii) who wish to qualify for the 40-hour General Site Worker course or are required to use respirators.

7. Respiratory Protection: Introduction to respirator types, their usage, and maintenance. 

8. Hands-On Training: Two days of field experience under the supervision of seasoned professionals. 

Certification: 

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification that, combined with their 24-hour training, qualifies them for the 40-hour General Site Worker status as per 1910.120(e)(3)(i).
